NPFL: Enyimba Forward Maduforo Appeals to Fans for Support Ahead of Oriental Derby
When the People’s Elephant host the Enugu Rangers in Aba, Enyimba forward Kingsley Maduforo says he anticipates an intense and passionate Oriental derby.
The former Rangers player urged Enyimba supporters to show up in big numbers as the team attempts to bounce back from their most recent loss to Katsina United in Ilorin.
He said to Puyaka, “We are playing Rangers International on Sunday, and it will be a sweet game.” “It’s always amusing when two brothers quarrel. We urge our supporters to keep supporting us to the fullest and to never give up on us.
According to Maduforo, the team has put a lot of effort into fixing the mistakes that cost them the previous game, and they feel prepared to strive for a successful outcome.
“After the defeat, we went back to the drawing board to correct our mistakes and aim for the highest possible score. I’m thrilled about the match as a former Rangers player, and I’m prepared to give it my all if chosen,” he remarked.
Prior to the match, Enyimba had 17 points from 14 games, placing them in 14th place on the log. Conversely, Rangers, who are now in fifth place with 22 points, come to Aba after a successful run of games.
