With 27 points, the Solid Miners momentarily recover the NPFL top spot, making a powerful message with the victory.
Nasarawa’s first goal came from a penalty kick in the 39th minute, and Anas Yusuf quickly doubled the lead in the 46th minute right after halftime. With a third goal in the 48th minute, Garba Mohammed completed the commanding performance, sending the Maiduguri team reeling and slipping to 12th place in the standings.

After two straight victories over Kano Pillars and Barau, the result puts Remo Stars in 10th place with 19 points while maintaining a lead over Shooting Stars. They have just one point separating them from the Niger Tornadoes when they head to Minna for their next assignment. Barau is still in 19th place, seven points ahead of Kano Pillars, who are in last.
Kenechukwu Agu’s goal in the 70th minute gave Enugu Rangers a 1-0 victory over Niger Tornadoes, continuing their quest for a top-six position.
Wikki Tourists and Bayelsa United drew 1-1 after Ifeanyi Ogba equalized in the 87th minute after Nasiru Jibrin gave Bayelsa the lead early.
