Sola Allyson, a well-known Nigerian gospel singer and songwriter, has declared that religion will not keep her from Lateef Adedimeji, a Nollywood actor.
The artist reportedly revealed this during her performance in Lagos.

A few days ago, Sola celebrated her new age by throwing a music event as a way to thank God.

A video that has gone viral online captures the audience cheering and applauding when Sola invited Lateef to the stage during the live performance.

Remember how Sola and Lateef’s 2022 performance together drew criticism?

“Religion cannot separate me from Lateef,” Sola said, unconcerned by the recent public outcry.

“I am a creative, Lateef is a creative, religion cannot separate us, Lateef is a child of God, I am a child of God,” she said. Since Lateef is my brother and we have different perspectives about our father, you are free to do as you choose. Thus, Lateef will be performing for us today, and if I know the song, I will join him in singing. You will be blessed, and the song will be lovely.

“Listening to BBO and Aunty Sola’s songs doesn’t make me less of a Muslim; your songs speak to me just like a Muslim song will speak to me,” Lateef continued, addressing the crowd. God is an ethereal being.
