Ronke Oshodi-Oke Makes Case For Tope Alabi Over Ex-Husband’s Exclusion At Daughter’s Wedding, Commends Iyabo Ojo
Unlike Nigerian gospel singer Tope Alabi, Nollywood actress Ronke Oshodi-Oke has praised her colleague Iyabo Ojo for taking part in her ex-husband’s daughter Priscilla Ojo’s wedding.
Recall that Ayomikun, the daughter of Tope Alabi, married her stepfather, Soji Alabi, in March 2025, with her biological father not present at the wedding ceremony.
This was not the case for Priscilla, the daughter of Iyabo Ojo, whose father attended both the traditional and church wedding rituals.
In an interview with Oyinmomo TV, Ronke praised Iyabo Ojo, adding that even though their father was not around, she gave her all for her kids when they were very little.

According to the movie star, she will appreciate the mother of two more after learning a valuable lesson from her.
Ronke, who was speaking on Tope Alabi’s case, stated that Nigerians shouldn’t hold the singer responsible for keeping her ex-husband out of her daughter’s wedding because Ayomiku is old enough to express her own wishes.
“I give Iyabo Ojo Kudos,” she stated. As a child, Priscilla and her brother would go everywhere together. A devoted mother, she is. When I saw Priscilla’s father during the wedding, I had a greater regard for her. She also taught me a valuable lesson.
The fact that Tope Alabi forbade her daughter’s father from attending her wedding should not be held against her. Perhaps it was the 27-year-old girl who refused to visit her father. She is a grown woman. She would have pressed her mother for her father if she truly wanted him. Although I disagree with Tope’s actions, let’s be forgiving of her. You all must have seen her father because Priscilla wanted him to attend the wedding.
