The Nigerian singer Seyi Shay has revealed why she was unable to wed her daughter’s father.
Recall that Seyi Shay gave birth to her first kid, a girl, in 2022, just a year after declaring her engagement but refusing to tell the identity of her boyfriend.
The 39-year-old singer Chude Jideonwu stated that her daughter’s father holds a special place in her heart during an interview with media personality on the WithChude podcast.
According to Seyi, her baby daddy is a Nigerian who works in the entertainment sector. They are not married because of a technicality, but they get along well as co-parents.
“Her father is from Nigeria,” she stated. Additionally, we coparent incredibly well and are now very good friends.
“We’re not wed. Although it’s a technical problem, I don’t want to talk too much about it because I haven’t talked to him about how he could feel.
He is the father of my daughter, and I hold him with the highest regard. However, he is fantastic, cool, and currently in the UK.
He works in the corporate side of the music industry as well. And we simply raise our child together, working well together. We have a close friendship.
