Sophia Momodu, the babymama of Nigerian Afrobeat musician Davido, has denied rumors that she prevented their daughter Imade from going to her father’s birthday.
According to reports, she was accused by a Snapchat user of preventing Imade from attending Davido’s birthday celebration.
“Sophia, why don’t you allow your daughter to celebrate with his dad?” the critics wrote.
Sophia retaliated to the critic, claiming that the rumors going around are untrue and purposefully misrepresented to portray her as the issue.
Davido’s babymama claims that people should stop including her child in online controversy since she has always been a protective mother.
Sophia cautioned against spreading false information regarding her daughter’s welfare and emphasized that protecting Imade’s privacy is her first priority.
“You people have been doing this false narrative thing for over ten years now,” she wrote. In addition, I am a very protective mother despite my best efforts to be graceful. It’s okay to say anything you want about me. But don’t bother my kid. This cannot be negotiated. Imade is not being used as leverage to force her mother to comply.
Recall that over the weekend, Davido celebrated turning 33. A large number of friends and family members, including the singer’s other kids, joined the celebration, with the exception of Imade.
