Sophia Momodu Explains Why She Stopped Posting My Daughter Imade On Social Media
Sophia Momodu, a fashion entrepreneur, has explained why she no longer posts photos of her daughter, Imade Adeleke, on social media.
The 38-year-old reportedly disclosed her explanation to an admirer who inquired about her preteen daughter’s absence from the internet during a Snapchat conversation.
As Imade gets older, Sophia remarked, it has become more important to protect her daughter.
She said she is more cautious about what is shared publicly and that maintaining her daughter’s online profile is a true effort.
The fan said, “To post Imade na war.”
“Genuine battle,” she declared. As she grows, I notice that my protectiveness has increased.
Imade is the kid of Sophia Momodu and Davido, a Nigerian musician.
A few months prior, during the singer’s and his wife Chioma’s white wedding celebration in Miami, she got into a heated argument with internet users.
The conversation reportedly started when Sophia shared a video of an American man talking about dating a free-spirited woman on Snapchat.
Some commenters seized the chance to suggest that she get married and follow in the footsteps of Wizkid’s low-key baby moms.
Sophia responded angrily to a post that asked her to respect herself and cut back on her online presence, asking why individuals who said they didn’t like her continued to follow her around.
