Super Falcons Star Rasheedat Ajibade Poised to Exit Atletico Madrid
Rasheedat Ajibade, the Super Falcons captain, is expected to leave Atletico Madrid at the conclusion of the season when her contract expires.
Rasheedat Ajibade’s projected free transfer opens up fresh chances, with reports tying her to America’s National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).
Atletico Madrid are already seeking for a suitable successor for the gifted winger. Ajibade signed a two-year contract with the squad in January 2021 after leaving Norwegian club Avaldnes. She then extended her stay with the club for a another three years in 2022.

She has had a significant influence at Atletico Madrid, scoring 40 goals in 136 appearances.
Meanwhile, Premier League clubs Crystal Palace, Everton, and Fulham are keeping a close eye on Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi as the summer transfer window approaches.
Following Leicester City’s relegation to the Sky Bet Championship, Ndidi is set to look for fresh opportunities this summer.
His departure from the demoted club is likely, given the £9 million release clause in the three-year contract he signed last summer, and interest from Saudi Pro League club Al Ahli heightens the intrigue.
Ndidi has been an important player for Leicester City since coming from Belgian club KRC Genk in January 2017, and his next moves will be eagerly watched by his supporters.
