The Brazilian football player has been having a great season at Real Madrid, scoring 105 goals and dishing out 79 assists in 311 games across all competitions.
But his on-field conduct has periodically come under fire, prompting FIFA to investigate his circumstances further.
MARCA reports that Vinicius’ ownership interests in a number of professional football teams have drawn criticism for potentially violating FIFA’s global rules.

The FIFA Ethics Committee received a complaint from the Brazilian company Tiberis Holding Do Brasil on April 7, which sparked this inquiry.
Potential ethical regulations, particularly those that forbid players from directly or indirectly owning professional clubs, are implicated in the lawsuit.
It has been reported that Vinicius owns shares in the Portuguese club Alverca and the Brazilian squad Athletic Club de São João del Rei.
Vinicius might have to leave these teams or be suspended for up to two years if he is proven guilty, among other serious repercussions.
