Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has revealed that he is carrying out projects with funds from the FCT Administration.

According to Wike, the FCTA has not yet received the 2025 budget from the federal government.

After viewing the ongoing construction of the six-lane road from Life Camp Junction to Ring Road 3 near Karmo in Abuja on Monday, Buhari revealed this while answering questions from reporters.

January 2026 is when the road project is anticipated to be completed.

“We have not received any funds from the national budget for this year, but we believe that funds will be released before the end of the year,” he stated. “We are implementing the budget, particularly as it concerns the FCT.”

The FCT budget, which provided sufficient funding for this N5, is what we are currently using. The N2 route that connects Wuse and Central Area is experiencing an emergency.

Dormant bus terminals that were put into service earlier this year were another topic the minister discussed.
