Nyesom Wike, the minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), stated on Friday that even if he were to serve as minister for 500 years, he would not be able to address every issue in the FCT.
Nonetheless, Wike promised citizens that his government will make every effort within the constraints of time and money.
He gave a speech during the opening of the Institution and Research District’s Collector Road C01, which would connect the Body of Benchers to the Nile University Area and include a bridge.
As a minister, I might be permitted to remain here for 500 years, but issues will still arise, Wike claims. I am unable to resolve every issue.
However, we will make every effort to provide our people with what they are entitled to, given the time and resources at our disposal.
Furthermore, I would like to express my gratitude to the Benchers’ body for their unwavering support and cooperation. And since I’m a life bencher, I can guarantee you that folks might fail. That’s not accurate.
Wike asked citizens to help the government make sure that the capital city is run properly, pointing out that the road is for the benefit of all users.
“Everyone should support the government to ensure that the right things are done and positive results are achieved because what is worth doing is worth doing well,” he continued.
