Supporters of fellow musician David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, have taken issue with Nigerian Afrobeats legend Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, well known as Wizkid, after he posted on social media during Davido’s white wedding celebrations in Miami, Florida.
Following a short hiatus, Wizkid reappeared on X (previously Twitter) on Saturday, August 9, releasing the enigmatic two-word message, “One condition.”
The post’s timing attracted notice because it fell during Davido and his wife, Chioma,’s extravagant wedding party. Current fashion trends in Nigeria
Recall that in 2024, Wizkid and Davido got into a contentious internet spat that sparked passionate discussions among fans, with each of their supporters picking a side.
Wizkid’s recent tweet went viral, but it’s still unclear if it was a hint at a new music project or something else entirely.
Many members of Davido’s devoted fan base, known as the 30BG, took it as a covert barb and chastised the musician for saying it at the wedding.
