Yemi Alade Reveals Why She Can’t Collaborate with Tiwa Savage
Despite the yearning of fans for the two powerful musicians to collaborate, Nigerian singer Yemi Alade has rejected the notion of working with colleague Tiwa Savage.
According to reports, the “Johnny” hitmaker stated that “she’d rather stay clear” in order to avoid any potential issues in her life during an interview on the “Withchude” podcast on YouTube.
Yemi Alade emphasized that working with Tiwa Savage might never happen because of the problems from their fans and the media, even if she firmly reinforced her belief in women supporting women and underlined her history of cooperating with other female singers.
“But I know that the fan-favorite collaboration is Tiwa Savage you mentioned,” she remarked. I prefer to avoid situations because I don’t want issues in my life.
“There is absolutely no problem. The problem is that the majority of fans and the media have a tendency to stir things up when they should remain calm. There isn’t a single issue.
Remember the intense verbal sparring between Yemi Alade and Tiwa Savage in December 2018?
The trouble began when Alade made fun of other female performers who, in her opinion, like tricking their followers by making their buttocks appear larger in pictures posted on social media.
Her message was sent hours after Tiwa shared some of her curvaceous Instagram photographs, despite the fact that she did not include names.
Tiwa responded quickly by posting a message on Instagram that read, “Don’t start a war you can’t finish.”
